I had a couple of family heirlooms that I want to wear again and pass onto my daughter at some point. I brought them, mostly silver and gold pieces and some gold earrings missing some pearls. They looked terrible. When I came back, I truly couldn't believe it. They were shiny and beautiful, looked brand new. Prices were reasonable, and they treated them, acknowledging the sentimental value they have for me. Something I really liked was that when you're there, they ask for your name, they ask the right questions and they guide you through the process quite nicely and seemlessly. I needed a small job done for the casing around a stone and to glue the pieces back on. I even told them I would pay for a new casing but they told me not too worry and they would handle it with the original... and handle it they did. Super friendly staff, very accommodating, and all while maintaining a high level professionalism all throughout. I originally found them as I needed a ring repaired. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and welcoming. Then when I was searching for an engagement ring with my partner we decided to pop in to try on rings.
After trying rings on with Laura we decided to make a custom ring. It was such a wonderful experience! We learned so much during our visits and Laura (and Rachel) were so knowledgeable. They informed us what design elements would be most suitable for our needs. We were able to customize every aspect of the ring and it turned out so special. The process was clear and very enjoyable. I will be back for my wedding band as well - potentially to customize again.
It is great to find a local, family-fun, customer centric shop. They deserve all the praise! I can't recommend them enough. Special shoutout to Laura for all her hard work (and having to deal with my indecision)!! read less

Unfortunately, when it arrived in Toronto, it was too small! I brought it to Edwards and Davies, who not only resized the ring, but their jeweler touched-up the carvings/engravings so that the expanded ring looked perfect - you'd never have known more gold was added. And their pricing was incredibly reasonable. 5 stars from me (and a big thanks!) read less
