Whether you have just inherited some jewellery or would like to insure the jewellery you’ve collected over the years, appraisals are a must. An appraisal is a written document that describes a piece of jewellery in great detail and assigns a monetary value that is required by insurance companies to cover loss or theft of your jewellery.

If you’ve experienced a loss or theft of your jewellery and don’t have appraisals, don’t panic! We can work with you to create an “Estimate of Replacement”. An estimate of replacement value is determined by photos of your jewellery along with your verbal description of the piece. Based on the information you provide us, we will determine values and prepare a document specifically tailored for insurance companies. Once submitted, we will work with you and your insurance company to ensure that your expectations are met.
